I'm looking into getting a new fish eye lens and/or macro lens, and was hoping that with all the photographers out there I could get a few suggestions. I'm not interested in those cheap lenses that you just snap onto the generic starter lens that comes with slr cameras, I'm talking heavy duty lens that is good, yet affordable. Maybe $300-$450. And believe me, I've looked EVERYWHERE for quality lenses, but having a second opinion that isn't my dad's would be appreciated. Any suggestions?

Oh and I use a Canon for those that didn't already know.

I would also like to point out that I am a born again Christian, and am very strongly involved with God. No, I am not part of any religion. I'm sorry, but being a christian doesn't automatically make you all high and mighty. I have a relationship God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirt. The God head three in one. I am called to become a war correspondent/ war photographer, whichever way you want to look at it. God has also gifted me with the spiritual gift of prophesy. No I am not a psychic.

Guess what! I finally made the switch from IE to Firefox yesterday. I've yet to find the advantages of Firefox, but it's only my second day using it. I was using Safari also, which is much faster than both Firefox and IE, but it doesn't scroll all the way down on some sites. (I think it's only because I use Safari on a Dell computer though.)

Oh and I finally finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. \

In other news, it's snowing cats and dogs here. We have at least a foot of snow outside, and it won't stop! I love the snow though, so it's all good. EXCEPT that my sister and her boyfriend are out of town right now and were supposed to come home today. They can't get on their plane because of the snow. Tons of flights have been canceled because of the weather. Right now we're worried if they will be home for Christmas...

But who knows, maybe the snow will stop tomorrow. (My aunt and uncle are also unable to come down because of the snow.)

UPDATE:
My sister made it home, my aunt and uncle are not able to make it for christmas, and I've also dug my own grave by *drum rolll*.............
