From 2008? Really?

This is ridiculous. I bought all of the fabric to piece this thing together and make it into a quilt in 2008, but I never did it. All my carefully calculated purchasing of fabric and designs were kept in a bag safe with all of the fabric and I never touched it until last summer (2012).

Since then, I finished it! (Kind of.) I'm still working on actually quilting it, which I chose to do by hand instead of by machine. Well, the first two or three rows of zig zags were done by machine, and then I decided I didn't like how it looked. The tape you see is my guideline.

This was also incredibly easy to piece. I knocked out a majority of it within three weeks.

So tada! Yay for procrastination! I'm not working on designing a new quilt that will be a present for a couple I'm staying with. But shhhh. It's a surprise.
